How Was This Song Made?

Pretty much started of with the lead whining synth melody then filled in the gaps with the triple layered beats. Next came the bassline created by a VAL Bassline Soft using the vst plugin. Then the main piano melodies to which has cloned channels so we could wash out any direct piano sound and create the deep soft background by using a plugin effect by Polyverse called Comet which allows you to create complete synthlines and backgrounds from any type of instrument used. Next came the female vocals which was multi-layered and also given a light touch "Comet" to create a more chior sounding melody. Then found a church bell sound from an old sound bank file from an online Orchestral free file pack as we could'nt be arsed creating one as the tones need to be real in the mix and that would take atleast 1 hour by itself. Added a few synth treats from a favourite goto vst synth plugin to sit behind the main synth lead before finishing or with some cymbals and other sounds then arrangement to song.
Effects Used; Vst Valhalla Shimmer on vocals, Vst Polyverse Comet on vocals and piano melody to create the background distant synth runs, izotope's Elements 9 for various toning and balancing of a few channels including master mixdown.
Synth Used: Roland JD-Xi
DAW Used: Fruity Loops for song arrangement & Studio 1 for main mixdown
