How was this song made?

Started of re-using my oldest original piano melody that I first wrote back in 1977 as a 7 year old. Will post that song on here when I can find the original remix I created of it...somewhere.
Then created some synth melodies as leads and basslines for the main structure on the song with some of those melodies lasting 16 bars each so 4x4 beat/16beat sequence then 16 bars of 16 beat to create longer driving patterns of the melodies incase I felt change needed in certain harmony areas between synth and bassline synths.
Next created the beats...nothing special straight 4 by 4 but with just enough punch to not be too dominant in the mix as to me music is not about the Kick & Hi-Hat...you should hear them as mid field ranges not distorting on every device played. Added a breakbeat to the Bridge/Drop mid section of the song and some extra plucks with there own melodies for the buildup.
Next sidechained some vocal atmospheric one notes in various keys and arranged as heard. Tossed in a few risers here and there and created a synth mid melody for the bridge section that just continues doing its own thing for 16 bars.
Every sound you hear was cloned atleast 4-6 times so every sound had level uptop -1/0 db prior to mixdown, this also allows to use a couple of channels of the same sound for either slight panning/widening/effects without losing its original body.
Then set about arranging the song for a full length version as with Trance music the length of the song is determined by the song within itself and how it sits....if it wants to keep going...let it..unless you are creating radio edits.

Synths Used; Roland JD-Xi, Yamaha DX7
Daw Used: FruityLoops (Sometimes Mixdown on Studio1 but not on this song)
Effect VST's Used; Valhalla Shimmer for vocals and Piano, Trancegate for sidechaining, Fruityloops Delay 3 with pingpong setting for Piano and other melodies, Polyverse's Gatekeeper for certain synth parts, iZotope's Elements 9 with Tonal Balance for mixdown and also on certain channels for pre-mix prior to master mixdown.

Total time from Start - Finish - 1hr & 48 minutes

*Secret ... dont spend too long in mixdown or mastering,,not good for your ears...get it close enough as it can be sent to a professional mastering studio should the demand for that song require it.
